There are plenty in hobbies and recreational activities in Libya. Tourist attractions here are the good climate, extensive beaches and the great Greek and Roman ruins.
However, tourist facilities are not widely available because tourism has been widely discouraged during Qadhafi's reign as President.
Imposition of UN sanctions in 1992 served to worsen the situation too. All visitors not from Arab countries need Visas. All the information too should appear in Arabic.
