How Filipino Parents Discipline Their Children

The family is the basic unit of society and this is where everything begins. The future leaders could probably start on the poorest of family working his way to success. It is up to the parents to properly guide their children as they grow up.

Di you know that the common Filipino parent usual hit their children to discipline them. Do not get this wrong, as too much and violently hitting a child could get these parents to jail. A justifiable light hitting using an open palm to either the hands or the buttocks of the child is the common way of disciplining in the Philippines.
